About Hope:

Hope coordinates the staffing of four clinics that provide health care to the indigent and low-income population. Healthcare providers volunteer at these clinics or see patients in their own offices who otherwise wouldn’t receive care.

OneWorld Covid 19 Campaign

The objective of this campaign aimed to promote the COVID-19 vaccine uptake. The primary emphasis was on highlighting the significance of receiving the vaccine, not just for individuals, but also for the well-being of their families.

GET is a project that aims to counter the racist and stereotypical narrative about communities that often find themselves at the receiving ends of negative propaganda. The aim of the project is to give voice to individuals who have stories that will educate as well as shake people.

These illustrations were made to showcase the culture of Sindh province of Pakistan and also convert them into souvenirs that people would want to collect. Illustrations are not only vibrant and colourful but also talk about the culture of Sindh. So this then becomes more than just another cultural product that looks good, it creates awareness using colourful designs which is what design should do. Entertain, empower and educate.

About Mehran TV:

Mehran TV, a regional satellite channel launched in March 2008, is established as one of the most renowned Sindhi Channels of Pakistan. It is successively gaining velocity due to its mesmerizing content which is a blend of entertainment and infotainment.

About Polio: Polio is a virus that may cause paralysis and is easily preventable by the polio vaccine at an early age.

Malala Yousafzai is a female education rights activist from Pakistan and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate. This portrait was commissioned for digital usage and was made to pay tribute to her services and courage.

This project was designed for a class where the idea was to create a brand using an image of a creature. From sketches to the execution of the brand, everything was made from scratch and had to convey the message behind the brand.

CORPORATE IDENTITY

The look and feel of the company are rough and competitive therefore the colours had to compliment that and hence everything related to the brand should look aesthetically the same.

The idea behind the logo was to make something that looks very competitive and aggressive visually and at the same time have the sim- plicity to it as well.

Since Jellyfish is a creature that’s both lethal and simple in design, so the logo is a depiction of both those elements

BREAKING STEREOTYPES - BS

My inspiration behind the project was to do something that raises awareness and speaks about the taboos of the society. Something that questions the semiotics of cultural and social stereotypes. This campaign aimed to address the issues of gender, racial, and sexual stereotypes. I am hoping to work along the same lines for my thesis as well.

BEARD

This is the project that i did for a private exhibition in Pakistan. The aim of the exhibition was to comment on the social taboos of the Pakistani Society and a comment on the stereotyping of religion and how one has to acquire a certain look in order to accepted or be part of a group.

The whole imagery was formed using words. Words with a meaning and a context behind them

A beard will never tell what your religion is. Hindu, Muslim, Jew, Sikh, Jan; they all have beards.

In the part of the world where I come from, having a beard is a symbol of being a good Muslim, however, what the majority fails to understand is that beard is a phenomenon that exists in almost all the religions.

You might be a hippy and be mistaken for a Muslim, just because you have grown a beard!

Here the relevance to one having a beard in order to be a better person is linked with the comparison of Lion and a Monkey. Because Lion and Monkey both have beards but if Lion is the king of the Jungle then it's because of his character and not because of his beard.

The concept is a comment on the stereotyping of people based on their looks. The whole idea revolves around the concept of beard and how its perceived to make people look holy or less holy. Your looks can never build your character, your actions do that!

Morning Muse

This ad was designed for a morning time radio show that was aired live on the weekend. The RJ was a vibrant and full of energy hence the logo had to depict the essence of the show, therefore, the colourful strokes and lively and type that reflects the fun and full of life feel

CityFM89 ADS

The two gentlemen in the big pictures are the RJs for radio shows, at CityFM89, both having the same last name ‘Malik.

The aim was to make it into an interactive experience and redefine the idea of RADIO ADS, as visuals are not something people associate with Radio. They are familiar with the voices of the Radio Jockeys but don't know what they look like. This was a disruption of its which upsets the established order of Radio Ads without the images of the RJs

The second ad was also an interactive piece, that had different segments of the campaign and the aim was to make people use a pen and make their way from one RJ to another.

Once it was solved, they then had to share the picture online using the Hashtags provided or tag CityFM89 on Facebook or Instagram, creating a mixed platform (Newspaper and Online) campaign.

This project was made to pay homage and tribute to the local legends of Indo-Pak region. The posters are designed in a vintage and minimalist theme with only the prominent and important features as part of the poster.

Mustache and Turban are considered the symbols of respect in the Indo-Pak region. As you can see that the facial features are missing, but still the moustache and turban are there, portraying the message that eventhough they are wiped out from the books but the respect is still there for them.

This is series based on the life events of Bhagat Singh and how he and his comrades are wiped out from the history books as they do not serve the political affiliations and ideologies of the government. This project is a form of propaganda which aims to educate the audience about the life of a freedom fighter who fought for the motherland but ironically he couldn't get the recognition he deserved.

Pakistan Navy Women Association (PNWA) was established in 1970 to provide vocational training, enhance computer literacy and inculcate general awareness among wards of PN personnel. PNWA started operating with extremely scarce resources and limited manpower toward achievement of its conceived goals. The persistent commitment and hard work of its executive, well reputed and supportive work force brought out this organization from infancy stage to the effective organization

DAAS Website

Website Design for DAAS which is a digital agency aiming to provide their services for small businesses. The website was minimalistic and simple, aiming to convey the message in a simpler and easy format.
